Not to worry, EIC can help provide clarity and relief by transforming chaos into a strategy for your child’s educational success!
Better strategy and analysis helps to empower you, the parent, to arm you with the knowledge, confidence and assertiveness to advocate for your child on your own... for life and maintain positive, healthy relationships with their school-based IEP team!
Parent Empowerment
This service is provided on an as needed, consultative, hourly basis. A parent may utilize these services one-time or on an annual, recurring basis.
By spending time meaningfully educating parents about their child’s disability, the extent of their needs, and long-term prognosis, Education Innovators Consulting seeks to empower parents to gain the assertiveness and confidence it takes to ensure an appropriate education and to advocate for their child on their own, for life.
To achieve this end, we conduct a thorough record review and devise a 1-page action plan to help parents determine the following:
- What IEP goals, accommodations, services, location of services, etc. should be changed, added or removed?
- What additional evaluations should be completed to ensure all of the child’s educational needs are met?
- What points of compromise may the family be willing to make with the district to facilitate and support a positive relationship?
